Z & G Dark is the edgier companion site to the buzzin’ creative hub Zen and Genki. This quirky corner of the cyberverse was created to showcase and share the arts, people, places and things that are perhaps a little too risqué, “weird” or “out there” for a good chunk of the general population to find beautiful or compelling.

Here, the belief stands strong, that these unique expressions in art, gadgets and action can be just as profound, inspirational and valuable as more mainstream and “light” material.

Z & G Dark is here to embrace originality, trailblazing and, very often, the non-traditional and daring.

What you will NOT find here are images, articles or content that is:

*Hateful in any way

*Pornographic

*Disrespectful to people or animals

*Gory or overly graphic solely for the sake of shock value

*Violent toward women or anyone else

*Sexually explicit or exploitative in nature

*A conduit to encourage despair, depression or death.

“Dark” in our case encompasses a certain eccentric and eclectic style, not unhappiness or malcontent! For example, we may feature a beautiful tombstone for the elegance of script, epitaph or stonework, not because it is a symbol of sadness or dying.

Content of this sort can be a very fine line to walk, and Z & G Dark is glad to do it. Most of the finest catalysts of  positive change have produced or utilized material that at one time or another has been considered “too much”, “too different”, too, too, too….
